The Climate

Located close to the confluence of the Dordogne and the Isle, and protected on its south-west flank by the Tertre de Fronsac (a large hill), Lalande de Pomerol is also subject to oceanic influences.

The Atlantic is less than 100 km away. The appellation has a warm, sunny, and humid climate that is ideal for growing wine grapes.
